Melissa Marcel brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. With a strong foundation in medicine, Melissa earned her MD from Université Notre-Dame d’Haïti in 2005 and later advanced her nursing career by obtaining her APRN license from Florida International University in 2018.
Her professional journey includes serving as an APRN at Amicus Medical Centers in 2019, followed by several years with Conviva before joining FCHC in 2025. Melissa specializes in adult chronic disease management, leveraging her extensive medical education and years of practice to provide exceptional care to her patients.
Passionate about meeting the needs of underserved communities, Melissa finds fulfillment in making a meaningful impact where it matters most. Guided by her personal mantra, “Do to others as you would have them do to you,” she approaches every patient interaction with empathy and respect.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys exploring her creative side through architecture, design, fashion, and art, and stays active playing volleyball.
