Dr. Mary Ann Cabrera is a seasoned medical professional with a diverse background and a deep commitment to serving communities. Her educational journey includes earning an MD and MPH in Preventive Medicine, along with certification as an AAHIVS specialist. What sets Dr. Cabrera apart is her unwavering passion for medicine and her dedication to making a difference in underserved areas. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Cabrera has taken on roles that reflect her commitment to community service. She began by working in Colombia, where she opened a small clinic to provide healthcare to underserved communities and actively participated in initiatives aimed at improving education and medical services for farming communities. Upon relocating to the USA, she worked with the Health Department, directing homeless services and serving as a medical professional catering to underserved populations. With over 30 years of experience in medicine, she has consistently focused on areas of critical need, embodying her dedication to making healthcare accessible to all. 

Dr. Cabrera’s career highlights include serving as the Medical Director of the Martin County Health Department, where she played a pivotal role in implementing strategies during health crises such as COVID-19, H1N1. 

Driven by the mantra of treating others as she would like to be treated, Dr. Cabrera’s approach to patient care is rooted in empathy, respect, and integrity. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and reading, finding balance and inspiration in her personal interests.
