Gloria Rodriguez, APRN – Family Nurse Practitioner

Gloria Mayerly Rodriguez is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner with FCHC since 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science (BSN) for Foreign-Educated Physicians from Florida International University in 2014 and her Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree in 2015. She graduated from Universidad de Cartagena (Colombia) in 1991 as a licensed physician and surgeon and practiced through 2006 before leaving her country.

She came to the U.S. in 2006 and worked as a phlebotomist while studying English for academic purposes at Miami Dade College from 2006-2007. She became a certified clinical laboratory technologist in 2012. Before joining the FCHC team, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner from 2016-18 at Integrative Physical Medicine in Kissimmee, FL, and at Canvas Clinical Research in Lake Worth in 2016.

Gloria does her best to uphold a strong work ethic along with a patient-first mentality. By prioritizing the patient’s needs and maintaining a clear outlook on possible treatments, she aims to provide comprehensive medical services. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients’ life and specializes in family medicine as she considers families to be of the utmost importance in our communities.

At FCHC, she loves that she can apply the medical skills she has been honing over a lifetime to improve the lives of the community and bring about a positive change. As a practitioner, she does her best to give patients the personalized care and understanding they deserve.

Gloria has been married for almost 29 years to her lovely husband and has two children, aged 20 and 28. She enjoys reading, biking, gardening, exercising, and doing arts and crafts when not working.
