FORT PIERCE, FL– On Monday, August 2, Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. (FCHC), held the opening and ribbon cutting of its newest location, Florida Community Health Centers, Inc., Lincoln Park.
The new health center, located at 3090 Avenue G, in Fort Pierce, is a community collaboration with In the Image of Christ, Inc. (ITIOC). ITIOC offers charitable services, health programs, educational training, and prevention outreach to address health disparities in the community.
Speakers at the opening and ribbon cutting included: Wilhelmina Lewis, M.D., President & CEO, FCHC; Sen. Gayle Harrell; Curtis Johnson, City Commissioner; Sean Mitchell, County Commissioner; and Sean Boyle, Children’s Services Council, St. Lucie County.
The center will provide high quality primary and specialty care for children, adolescents and adults. Services include: pediatric and adult primary care, prenatal care, physical exams, immunizations, telehealth, a variety of health screenings (diabetes, cancer, blood pressure, HIV, and more), and additional services which include COVID-19 testing and vaccinations.
