Dr. Julian Anthony Moore, MD, is a highly accomplished clinical administrator with an extensive background in family medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Livingstone College and his Medical Doctor degree from Meharry Medical College. Following medical school, he completed a flexible internship at Hurley Hospital and a Family Medicine residency at Wayne State University.
Dr. Moore is renowned for his exceptional diagnostic skills and his compassionate approach to teaching patients about their illnesses. His career journey includes serving as Clinical Director at Insight Substance Abuse and working in a private practice for 31 years in Flint, Michigan. Since 2015, he has been a Clinical Administrator at Florida Community Health (FCHC).
Throughout his career, Dr. Moore has received several prestigious accolades, including the National Eagle Scout Award in 2005, an Ebony magazine award in 1989, and helping his center receive the FCHC Center of the Year award. He finds great satisfaction in the teamwork at FCHC, which enhances their effectiveness in diagnosing and treating challenging cases.
Guided by his mantra, “Worship of God through service to mankind,” Dr. Moore believes that respect and appreciation are crucial in building and maintaining professional relationships. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing golf.
