Dr.Yenisbel Martinez Perez is a compassionate and dedicated Doctor of Dental Medicine who brings a truly global perspective to patient care. Her journey in dentistry began in Cuba, where she earned her initial dental degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara (UCM VC) and developed a strong commitment to serving diverse populations.
After relocating to the United States, Dr.Perez pursued the rigorous process of re-qualifying to practice dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine through the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists. Having successfully trained and practiced within two healthcare systems, she offers a unique, culturally informed approach to care that allows her to connect meaningfully with patients from all backgrounds.
Dr. Perez is licensed to practice dentistry in both Cuba and the United States and has extensive experience helping pediatric patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental setting. Her calm, empathetic approach is especially effective in reducing dental anxiety and creating positive, fear-free experiences for children and families.
She is drawn to Florida Community Health Centers’ mission because it reflects her deep belief that healthcare is a human right. Dr.Perez is passionate about removing barriers to care—whether language, financial, or educational—and is proud to serve the Florida community by providing high-quality, compassionate dental care.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr.Perez values clear communication and patient education. She is a proud member of the Florida Dental Association and remains dedicated to making every dental visit a positive experience.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring Florida’s beautiful beaches, kayaking through mangroves, and discovering local nature trails. Her guiding principle is “Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
