Dr. Yaskira Anderson, MD, is a dedicated pediatrician committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in the Dominican Republic and completed her Pediatric Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Through her medical training and residency, Dr. Anderson developed a strong commitment to preventive care, early diagnosis, and supporting families in maintaining healthy lifestyles for their children. Her clinical interests include preventive pediatric care, monitoring growth and development, childhood immunizations, management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions, and family education focused on wellness.
Dr. Anderson values building trusting relationships with patients and their families and believes that education and prevention play a key role in lifelong health. She especially appreciates working at FCHC because it provides her the opportunity to serve diverse communities and help improve access to quality healthcare for children and families.
Dr. Anderson believes that every child deserves compassionate care and the opportunity to grow up healthy.
Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, dancing, and baking.
