Stephanie Ann Taylor is a Registered Pharmacist, a Consultant Pharmacist, and a Doctor of Pharmacy. She joined FCHC in 2019 as an outpatient clinical pharmacist and now oversees pharmacy operations. She uses her talents for problem-solving to address gaps in processes and procedures that impede successful delivery and execution.
Stephanie moved to Fort Pierce, Florida as a teenager, where she attended Lincoln Park Academy and graduated as class valedictorian. Stephanie attended college at Florida A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctor of Pharmacy (1998). Previously, she worked for Walgreens as a staff retail pharmacist before being promoted to the pharmacy department manager. Stephanie received a consistently favorable net promoter score (9 of 10) for customer service operations. She was voted Pharmacy Manager of a Consumer Voted Best Walgreen Store by region by the Council on Aging 2015-2016.
After working 19 years at a large chain pharmacy, she sought a more patient-focused, clinical role, so she obtained state licensure as a consultant pharmacist and joined FCHC. Stephanie loves working at FCHC because she says she gets to advance health equity and directly impact patient care for the individuals who likely need it most. She appreciates communicating our organization’s mission, vision, and values daily at work and home.
Stephanie is also the owner and operator of Med Therapy RX Consultants, LLC, which she started in October 2018. In March 2020, amid the pandemic uncertainty, Stephanie felt the need to provide drug education to her friends and neighbors on her social media page, Medtherapyrx. She quickly became a resource for drug information, particularly COVID vaccines. In March 2021, she collaborated to register and vaccinate 200 at-risk residents of Fort Pierce for COVID.
Believing that service to others is the cornerstone of character, she proudly holds membership in several service organizations, including the Treasure Coast Chapter of The Links, Inc. and the Fort Pierce Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is also a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, the Florida Pharmacy Association, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. She is an empathetic and passionate patient advocate and servant leader. She is mom to Devin, Brianna, Deuce, Darrel, and Dakota and grandparent to Zaiyen. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.
