Macresia A. Braziel, APRN

Macresia A. Braziel was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since she could remember she has always wanted to be a nurse. She started her journey as a medical assistant right out of high school and absolutely loved and enjoyed what the profession had to offer. Prior to obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2007, Macresia received an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College in 2004. After taking a break from school to raise her family, she obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from South University in 2015.  

Macresia holds a national board certification with American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner that specializes in many fields of medicine and disease prevention. She has always had a heart for helping others and providing medical care and advise to her patients. She has been employed in the medical field for over two decades and has held various positions in the nursing field, which include cardiac, infectious disease, ICU step down, nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and medical surgical.  

Aside from being an APRN, Macresia spends most of her free time participating in various community service activities. She has volunteered for organizations like Black Nurses Rock, Black Nurse Practitioner of Palm Beach County, and is a active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Macresia has always had a heart for helping and serving others around her.  

Macresia Braziel has been married to her wonderful husband since 1998. They have four beautiful daughters and like their mother two of them are pursuing careers in the medical field. Her hobbies include cooking, dancing, and spending time with her love ones. Macresia and her family currently resides in St. Lucie County.
