Ellen Y Lowe, APRN

Ellen Lowe, APRN,  is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for serving underserved populations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Ellen believes that educating patients and their families is one of the most effective ways to care for patients, providing holistic and culturally competent care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Ellen’s career journey reflects her love for pediatrics and community health. She began her career as a registered nurse in Early Intervention, conducting home visits with developmentally delayed children. She then served as a school nurse for elementary and middle school students. After earning her master’s degree, she briefly worked in Urgent Care before relocating to Florida in 2022 to join Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. (FCHC).

Ellen finds the most rewarding aspect of working at FCHC to be the relationships built with patients and the camaraderie among co-workers who share a passion for serving the community. Her favorite part of pediatrics is watching her patients grow and develop.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoys reading, traveling, and indulging in good food. She often spends weekends on the boat or at the beach with her husband, who is an avid fisherman.
