Fifty years. Countless lives impacted. One unwavering mission.
On June 14, Florida Community Health Centers (FCHC) celebrates an incredible milestone: 50 years of serving communities across South Florida and the Treasure Coast.
What started in 1976 as a single health center focused on providing care to migrant and agricultural workers has grown into a trusted healthcare network serving thousands of patients every year across six counties.
Today, FCHC offers everything from primary care and pediatrics to dental services, behavioral health, women’s health, pharmacy services, infectious disease care, chiropractic care, and more, all designed to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone.
And the growth hasn’t stopped.
In recent years, FCHC has continued expanding to meet the changing needs of the communities it serves, including the opening of the Port St. Lucie Adult & Senior Health Center, bringing specialized care closer to home for adults and seniors.
But the real story isn’t about buildings, it’s about people.
For 50 years, FCHC providers, team members, and community partners have helped generations of families stay healthy, overcome challenges, and access the care they deserve. From first checkups and childhood vaccinations to chronic disease management and preventive care, FCHC has been there every step of the way.
As we celebrate this golden anniversary, we’re honoring the employees, patients, and supporters who helped shape our journey and looking ahead to the next chapter of innovation, growth, and community impact.
Here’s to 50 years of caring, healing, and making a difference. And we’re just getting started.
