Dr. Victor Emanual Guerra joined FCHC as a Pediatrician in 2018. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the National University of Panama School of Medicine, graduating in the top fifth of his class. He completed his pediatric training at the New York College of Medicine. Dr. Guerra then earned his Master’s in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Guerra has enjoyed being a pediatrician for the past thirty years, noting it has been a major part of his life since completing his residency. Before joining FCHC, he was in pediatric private practice in Fort Lauderdale and Homestead, FL. Additionally, he was a pediatrician at a federally qualified organization in Lake Worth, FL, and assisted with Accretive Health patient case evaluations.
He is grateful he can work helping migrant and Hispanic children and is honored to share with them the benefits of receiving care through FCHC. He is the father of two adult children. His oldest lives in Boston and is a journalist working for National Public Radio. His youngest, who got married last year, lives in Orlando and has studied computer animation. Dr. Guerra loves to travel. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese and would love to learn French.
